The Agrilearn project has concluded its report on the best current practices in the industry of smart agriculture and the needs and interests of producers and stakeholders active in agriculture in different European countries.
Through research and the analysis of responses from farmers in Spain, Cyprus, the Netherlands, and Greece, this report identifies the key drivers and challenges in smart agriculture adoption. The insights gained from this analysis will guide the creation of VET materials that are designed to meet the diverse needs of farmers, facilitating the transition toward a more sustainable, productive, and climate-resilient agricultural sector.
The AGRILEARN project points toward a future where smart agriculture can be more widely adopted, provided that targeted training and support systems are in place. The potential for smart technologies to address pressing issues such as climate change and resource management offers a path to more sustainable and profitable farming practices across Europe.
